A great night was had by all at our first ever butchery event on the 8th May. Our master butcher Stuart took the audience through how we achieve our cuts of meat ready for you to take home.
The focus was on Yorkshire lamb, the one demonstrated coming fresh into store that day. A fun and educational evening with particular interest around the formation of the lamb cushion, stuffed noisettes and marinated butterfly leg.
Along with the demonstration, our head chef Ben informed the audience how best to cook the cuts, accompanied with delicious tasters of stuffed lamb cushion, lamb tenderloin with pearl barley risotto and our signature shepherd’s pie.
Our best selling rioja was also enjoyed along with a welcoming glass of prosecco. There was also a chance to ask our experts questions throughout the evening and make use of an exclusive shopping experience throughout our Food Hall at the end of the night.
